I bought an 18 inch bending brake from Harbor Freight that should be good for thicker stock. I have not yet had an occasion to use it, but the part that holds the stock in place is not attached to the rest of the brake in any way. I would have to use C-clamps to hold it down. I guess that I should get off of my duff and screw the brake to some plywood. If I was really ambitious I could drill and tap the base to take some 1/4 inch machine screws so I would not have to use C-clamps.
