Good idea. I have been using refrigerator door magnets glued to a work shelf for years. I got the idea for my fly tying tools.
Forgot all about it. Thanks for reminding me.

Thanks for the tip, I think I'll try that. My workbench is a mess.

I have a steel pipe running across the ceiling and when I tear a hard drive down to destroy the data (another part time job) I pull the two really powerful magnets and slap them o the pipe it has the same effect as the above.

For years I have used the round magnets that came out of my slot cars. Simply drill a hole to countersink the magnet, put a little glue on the back, seat he magnet and you're set.
