My plan worked! I stole enough time this AM to get another workbench built. Started a 9:00am and got this far before lunch interrupted the build. Sure will be nice to have a designated build area. Now I wont have to use the Track as a back up table
My normal Steel top 5x3 bench just wasn't big enough to do everything, and I had a little extra space I wasn't using. So, I now have this 5'x29" Table for just chassis building! Its not pretty, but it Damn sure will work.

Thats great Bob, I see a nice sized vice there, something I still need to pick up.
I am waiting for our Kitchen to get a make over, then I will be able to pick and choose from the old
countertop and cupboards.
Well put together Sir and nicely organized

Hey Bob,
I see the vac form in the foto. I have one and also one I built. I'm curious what gage plastic you use in the Mattel machine. I bought some sheets online but seem heavy and don't give crisp detail. Possibly not enough heat.

Nice, Bob. I should do my brass sticks that way. I went to the trouble to make a set of bins like the hobby shops used to use, but now I need more bins to separate them. I think I'll just dump the bin idea and hang them like you did.
