Power supply

I am in the planning stages for a making a routed track. I have been looking at power supplies. I know guys have said that they can get the PS26K for $100 or even less. I have seen it for that price as well. The problem is I live in Canada and the shipping on them is pretty high.

I can get the PS26K from amazon.ca for $216, or $234 for the PS36KX. The $100 ones from ebay have shipping costs anywhere from $70 to $120 to where I live.

I can get the Trackmate power supply from out BC for a much cheaper price, as the shipping cost is much more reasonable. Its the same power supply that my local (3.5 hours away, I live in the middle of nowhere lol.) slot car store uses on their 4 lane track.

Or should I just use a battery?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks Curtis

Get the Trackmate then, that is a very good supply.

Avoid batteries. No need for the hassle.

I can vouch for the a1parts folks...good dealings with them. I didn't realize prices had jumped so much!
