MagRacing is producing some great Classic Buildings from thin mdf , just under 1/8th ".
So far there are 4 buildings, Control tower, time keepers buildi g, Grandstands and Marshall Huts in a pair. All 60s era
I have built the Control Tower and Timekeepers building , they are really easy to assemble and look great and to scale.
Here is a link to,the site, and you can make a purchase on ebay, but they will deal direct at a better rate than ebay.
Here is the link , well worth the look

By the way, thes are the same guys that do the slotless racing cars, using some kind of magnetics on the inner and outer track edges.
I just saw a post where the 1/43rd grandstands were used on a 1/32 track and looked great with people seated in them. Good for infield bleachers i suspect.

Thanks to Chappy for the lead on these structures. The Magnetic Racing guys are great to work with. Very helpful. Even better, their buildings are awesome. Outstanding detail. They are made of laser cut MDF and the edges are crisp. When you open the package the whole room smells like your woodburning kit from the sixties. Details are etched in. Most walls are double thickness to add strength. They have also added three different pit building configurations. I highly recommend them for anyone seeking to add details on the track and encourage you to check out their website.

Just finished 2 pit ends and have 3 pit centers to do and 4 sets of bleachers .
Cant believe how simple they go together and how great they look.
Once painted they will look great on the new track.
These guys are coming out with all sorts of new buildings too.
Worth keeping an eye on , as they will be doing some modern stuff in the future too.

Just finished this set of bleachers.
They remind me of the ones at Brighton Speedway my local dirt oval.

I had my first taste of laser cut kits when I was in model railroading. They were great with craftsmen type results that were as easy to build as a plastic kit.
These are very nice. I may have to breakdown and get bunch of bleachers
I should have dropped some Christmas hints for these. :D
Cheers

I'm intrigued by these kits! Thanks for sharing. Since I have not built a wood kit, I have a rookie question: What type of glue is recommended -- regular wood glue, or something that dries quicker/stronger?
Thank you!

I rank these as the best looking kits ever made. If I ever re-do my track, these are on the shopping list.
Bob - the track is looking fantastic!

Rock the bglue used is as suggested by the manufacturer, CA glue.
Thanks David, i should have the scenery done in time for some hosting duties.
90 feet 4 inches long and max difference in long and short lane is only 3/8 inch.
There is a lot of scenics to go yet though.
