Due to space constraints, the straight is only 11' long. So I'll be doing only a 30 degree banked corner at the end instead of my typical 45 degree. Some day I want to build a room 14' x 35'. Then I can build a really nice track again.

First time using MDF. Previous tracks were made for particle board, not to be confused with OSB (Oriented strand board). MDF is a pain for routing compared to particle board. Way too much fine dust (wear a quality respirator, not a paper dust mask). Also leaves a fuzzy edge on both sides fo the slot which can be trimmed with a knife. Only 3/4" thick particle board is available locally. I wanted 3/8". So I ended up w 1/2" MDF instead. :(

Interesting to hear about the "fuzz" - but appreciate the tip about the respirator style mask and seeing your update pics! Looks like it is going to be a fun track! :D
