Well, finally broke ground on the new track yesterday. Cut all the frame pieces, over 400 pieces of wood. If this experiment works, it'll be a great track. If not, I have a lot of firewood. lol

It will be great, I have no doubts.
Still 10 and 10 in the hands/feet departments right?

What? 400? You making this out of toothpicks?
Come-on Kurt, spill the beans. Pictures or it didn't happen!
Wait a minute...aren't you in IT? You aren't authorized to run power tools. Crap, neither am I then...
Can't wait to see what you're cooking up!

Beans will be spilled pretty soon, David -- before the end of the week.
Now, here's the killer. Jenny took her camera with her, which is what I normally used. Now that she's in Michigan, I have to dig up my old, crappy camera. First, I couldn't find its charger. Since my computer doesn't read xD cards, I have to find the cable that connects it to the computer. Got the charger, don't have the cable. It's around here somewhere.
My 'new camera' fund has been tied up in, umm, track building. Imagine that.

Will this new track be in place of the old track or in addition to?

Remember, Kurt... Always soak the MDF in hot water before routing!

James, this track will completely replace the old one. I hope to get rid of this track altogether. I still think it's a good track with a great combination of curves, but I'd be happy if I never drove on it again. 9 years is enough. :)

Ya know, and IT guy talking about not being able to find parts is kind of embarrassing...do I need to send you one?
