Oval questions

Thinking of routing an mdf oval and have 4x17 for room....is this enough for 3-4 lane 1/32? Also when I checked lowes and me ares here they only had the thicker mdf...1/2 and 3/4 I believe...where do people buy 3/8? I'd like to bank it too.

No idea on thickness of the mdf but I think a 4x17 would work. The corners will be kinda tight in my opinion but will be fun. My artin 4 lane is a 5.75 by 8.75 I believe. And it's four lane.

I'm wondering how that paint choice worked ...so what type tires worked best with that?

It is mine. I took it down and it's now in Chicago still in use.
Paint works fine. It gets rubbered in over time. PG Urethanes worked best.

That's good to know Harry. I haven't started on the oval yet Bibbster but I have your friend Rustys course here..plan is use this till I fabricate an oval. More I look at Harry's ,the more I like it.
