power supply help

I have a analog adjustable power supply.
I would like to switch the analog meter over to digital.
I remember guys talking about it but can't find any posts.
I'm looking for what kind of meter I need to use?
It has two meters one for volts & one for amps.
I am more concern about the volts part.
