This came in as a used box at the local track and after years of hauling around my cars wrapped in bubble wrap in a repurposed wood ammo crate, I decided it might be time for an upgrade. :)
While the dimensions are geared toward 1/24 cars, I will be populating it with a mixfrom 1/24 down to HO.
Makes for a much handier way to get everything to and from the track!

What a beauty. Lots of open space you can customize, too. Start collecting small cardboard boxes that will fit snugly to partition stuff. As you go along, you can rearrange them and eventually, when you have it the way you want to keep it, you can glue in bits of wood. Meanwhile, you'll have the best looking box around.

Last commercial track (40 miles away)shut down about 5 years ago.
I would show up with 2 shoe boxes & my 35 year old Parma resistor controller. :laughing-rolling:
I'd tell 'em it's not the package, but the contents that's important. ;)

I did some mods via Dremel to some PLANO compartment boxes to allow cleanly housing my HO cars in there and found that so long as I put them in nose first, I am even able to squeak my 1/24 drag cars there as well!
