And I was planning on building one of those Ford GT but when I went to the website to download the file the price went up to over $100. Then when I got the courage to just go ahead and spend the money, they took it off the website and I surely didn't want a fungus GT to replace it. Oh well, I snoozed and lost.

Also looking forward to the Continental Tire Challenge race and the Porsche Cayman GT4s...................

In P2 I'm pulling the Michael Shank Racing team, looking good for this years race.

Being around the middle of winter here, I always like to see the sunshine and palm trees during the broadcast. The racing not so much!

What a finish between 2 GTLM Corvettes, less than a car length after 24 hours. Great driving buy both.

I went to the race with my new HoverRound power chair with the hope that I would be able to get to places around the track I have skipped before. Unfortunately not long after the start of the race the chair started loosing power so I went into conservation mode staying in my car for a couple of hours. Around 6:30PM I got back in the chair and went to the Grassroots Motorsports tent for dinner. By 8:00PM the chair barely had power to get back to my car. So, with the help of some friends we got it loaded up and I drove home. I'm glad the Corvette C-7Rs did so well in their class. It's disappointing to see that the Daytona Prototype class is falling apart and probably will die. I saw the Deltawing crash live and it appeared to me that a contributing factor was a lack of maneuverability when a hard turn to either the left or the right was required. Several other cars were able to steer around the disabled car but when the deltawing approached the driver was unable to steer it away from a crash. Congrats to the Petron Vodka car on it's overall win.
