Ditto. What a great effort here. It is a fun car too.

Thanks for the kind words, folks. By the way, this was one of the most difficult cars that I've ever broken down for a repaint. They sure build them well!
I'm holding out hope that the Tamiya TS-13 clear will eventually make a comeback. My local hobby shop expects it back sometime next year. Apparently they have a new formula and are just waiting on approval for import. Until then, I think I'll try Model Master Enamel next time. I'm a bit hesitant to use a lacquer over Tamiya as I've read on modelling forums that it gets hot as it cures and can damage the paint.

I exchanged emails with a rep from Krylon. They of course insist nothing has changed, but it has. I am back to Future (ahem) as well.

My can of Krylon Crystal Clear is older (older mix?), I only use it to coat my newly printed decals (3 light coats, so hopefully the can will last awhile) and stick with Future on my cars.
It's too bad that Carrera hasn't done this car in 1/32....I think they would be a pretty hot seller.
