I came across this kit and it was cheap, so I decided to take a chance, since my airbrush has decided to quit forever. It arrived today and the quality is surprising on first glance. This might be something really good for the price, so I am going to spend the weekend with it and see what's up.

Wow , that got my attention, what a good deal.
I wonder what the shipping would be north of the border, plus 25% duty
About $135.00 Cdn plus shipping.
3 air brushes, and the compressor, I think you still have to look hard to beat that depending onnthe shipping costs.
Nice Catch

Yeah, and the quality looks pretty good. All three have significant weight, like triple chrome over brass, the regulator is excellent, the 6 foot hose is elastic, so if you accidentally pull too much, the compressor stays in place. All the fittings look good, the compressor has a switch, so you don't have to go unplug it to stop, there are instructions in each airbrush and with the compressor, plus a large manual with more info. The regulator's water trap has a tickle valve, so it doesn't have to be disassembled to get the water out. I may review this set tomorrow and people can see it on the weekend when there are so many more folks online.

I've been toying with getting a complete setup since mine died years ago. This may be the ticket and I anxiously await your review.

I only recently bought some stuff from TCP Global. Quite happy with their service. I bought 2 Badger 155-7 Anthem kits (one for me and one for HL's youngest) and a Buegler Pinstriper. It must be noted that the Badger kit doesn't include the colour cup that is listed on contents, but that's more Badger's fault in changing the contents of the kit but not fixing the packaging sleeve.
Each item was almost a hundred dollars less than what I'd have to pay for them here. Even with $60 for postage I still saved about $200.

WOW! That is definitely quite the setup! Very nice looking and you are right - it looks like quality stuff. The compressor is really nice and I'm glad to hear it runs so quiet.
Now to see about financing for one and to see if I can test it out on the wife... ;)

It might be nit-picking, but I'd just like to make a couple of corrections.
The "Paasche type" is actually an external mix single action. My original brush is a Paasche and internal mix dual action syphon feed like what has been dubbed "Badger type." Both Badger and Paasche make single action external mix, as do Astek, Iwata, Tamiya, Delta and a whole bunch of others. The third one is gravity fed internal mix and most probably dual action.
Definitely a bargain basement buy at USD 99.

Nice job, It looks like a great outfit for the price. I am one who does not need to spend a lot for a system as I do not use them enough to warrant it.
Seems like this is an ideal option for the budget or beginner modeler. And looking at whet you get seems to make it good enough for the more advanced user as well.
Thanks for the effort. I will get this saved in the archives. Well done.

At that price, with all of those goodies, I really have no more excuse for putting off switching from rattle cans to air brushes. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

Thanks for the thorough writeup. That's quite a package deal. I'd love a quiet compressor, mine sounds like a pile driver.
