Looks too shiny needs some good old scuffin. Are you still casting those? Would like one if possible.

First off, the first version was an A in my mind, and the reincarnation after the bubble bath is an A+.

I get very bored of the cars, so I may need to resort to the bubble bath concept to keep changing things up with out increasing the fleets size at Dundee Speedway!!

This is getting spooky. I have been working on a '40 coupe from your resins, and I saw that Harry had cut his 1/24th car the same way I cut mine that morning. Then, here you are redoing the exact same resin body I am. Its a sign. Has to be.

Looks great Dave. I like this one much better, and the finish is perfect. The one I'm doing has a rusty roof and old flat oxidized black paint.

I don't know... His wife thinks he's peckable, after all. She should know.

I'll buy the rubber if you decide to bring the mold back.

Oooo! Time to acquire some spares for the future! We'll be doing these for years. That's why there's so few of the old Pyro, Hawk, and Palmer kits out there. The people want more! Power to the people!

Wow! You've got your P-BOP car ready already. My 40 coupe is together and I will be testing it tonight at Luf's. It is still not painted, but look like it has bondo
on it where I filled a few little voids. I'll get some pictures up soon on the P-BOP thread.

As someone above said the old paint job was an A and the new paint job is an A+.

I generally like blue on cars like this but the black somehow just came out better. :music-rockout:

Nice Dave. Do you think it needs to be buffed out a little?

Fun! I am champing at the bit to get out there and finish up.

Hey, what is this "hot knife" technique I read about? Is that a tool, or just a knife that has been heated?

Got to be easier than an emory board... for hours and hours. I'll try it on the sedan I have waiting in the wings. Thanks, Dave.

Cool little car there Dave. What did you use for motor and gearing?
