My little Dr.Pepper tribute...

After seeing that SWEET Dr.Pepper paint job bibbster shared, I thought I would share my humbler "tribute" that I did on the body for the 1/32 JK Formula 2 class we run at the local commercial track. :)
Being a Dr.Pepper fan, I though it would be cool to do up something notably different from the paint schemes everyone else was running and came up with the fantasy livery below.
I am still getting accustom to detailing and painting on the "inside" of bodies verse the outside - but I am still pretty happy with how it looks having all the graphics on the inside (even if I did use logos from a couple different "eras") ;)
(next I have to work on adding the smaller sponsor decals in there too - maybe on the next one) :)
Here are a couple shots for those that are interested...

For reference, the logos, arrow, etc were simply printed on regular 20# white printer paper using an HP inkjet printer, cut out and then applied using to the inside of the body over a wet layer of Mod Podge "Matte-Mat-Mate" glue/sealer in the spots I wanted them. I followed that up with just a light coating of Mod Podge on the edges and back of the logos to "seal" them then after a little color for the helmet, the whole thing was shot with Parma Faskolor white paint. :)
