Noob painting 1st timer all done

So I know you all have read ShotgunDaves most excellent painting how-to
I love to build chassis and cars, but my paint looks about like it did when I was 8
A few years back I got a deal one a Iwata airbrush and compressor so I used a little different equipment then Dave, but I used his method
I used the airbrush to do my landscape and found squirt bottles are better so it has sat in a drawer since, I have no other painting experience other than rattle cans and shaky hands :hand:

I used a grey Ace primer,I have had this car primed for weeks now I will get some of Dave's brand if this works out, I used 1500 paper again what I had, then washed the body in mild soap.
that paint is a Pearl Blue about 35 years old I used distilled water to get it like milk

1st coat

about 5 coats later
