What is the best way to prep this Mustang for repaint? Its yellow with black stripes. Also what is best to use for bodywork?

Soak the body in 91% alcohol until you see the stripes start to lift. Scrub with an old toothbrush. Wash in lukewarm soapy water. Use primer then your color choice.

I like using the automotive red spot putty for any type of bodywork...but most like Tamiya as well.

Okay thanks I've done custom rusted models, so I'm just wondering if it is basically the same.

cut it as in stretch it or open wheel wells up?

I have a X-Acto Razor saw I use for body panels and a good die grinder with round sanding drum for opening things up
