During part #1 you kept referring to "mistakes" while you were painting the body.I am a huge Bob Ross fan.He always said when he was painting those landscapes he never made mistakes, they were in his words "happy accidents".Especially on a rusty weatherbeaten finish any blemish just adds character to the finished product.

Those are great videos Dave! The club I sometimes run at is primarily a 1/24 hard body club. I'll probably try these techniques on a 1/24 jalopy when the time comes. Have you ever tried a coat of diluted black paint in addition to the reds & browns for rust?
