Ted, you did a wonderful job on the Tiny Lund Car, only one problem, you did too good of a job. I saw his Camaro and his Malibu in person and Tiny never had a paint job on a car that had any shine. I once heard him joke about his car by saying that he had heard of the Orange Blossom Special and he drove the Orange Peel Special. Tiny and Buddy Baker were definitely two larger than life figures.

Oh, by the way, your version looks like it belongs with any great looking original or repaint.

Excellent job, and don't concern yourself with the size of the door numbers. Remember that every time that door touched anything, it had to be repainted. The position and size varied all the time until they started using vinyl stickers. You did great.

But what are you going to do to that Scaley driver to show its Tiny Lund behind the wheel? Maybe there's finally a place for the Mr Blobbyhead drivers! The massive and affable Mr. Lund and Wendell Scott are the only drivers that need a special head, as far as I know.

I hadn't thought of using Mr Blobby head, trouble is I never liked him. Maybe one day I'll track down a plus size driver that fills the seat out a little more
I'm over worrying about the numbers and stuff now, the gold NZ Camaro I'm currently doing has "done my head in" so much, that I would kill to have the same issue and that be all.

Now the build is over and done with and I've stopped giving it the third degree, this Pepsi Camaro is among my favourites.

DD, man you've really got to get a couple of sets of those CB wheels from the SCC guys and give them a try. I swear they look even better in the flesh.

The secret to a shiny and smooth paint job, is to touch it while it's still tacky and then spend 3 days polishing out the fingerprints. :D
