Who makes a correct shade of yellow for my Junior Johnson Holly Farms Galaxie ???

That was a tough one to do. I finally got it by using Model Masters Phoenician Yellow #28102 and Future over it to get a shine. It is a dull gloss paint, but the Future does the trick nicely. Perfect match. My car is in the pack on top of the Proxies page. viewforum.php?f=35

Thanks I wondered about that pale yellow color.I just got the reissue of the AMT 66 Galaxie.And I wanted to do one of Junior Johnson's cars Well,I'm off to the LHS to get that paint.

Long story short,bought the paint sanded off the stock trim.Sprayed on the Phoenecian Yellow,WOW !! The color matches perfectly with the picture on the Jan.1967 issue of Stock Car Racing Magazine.Thanks for the help !!

Careful about that big decal on the trunk lid. Its a bear to get straight, bubble-free, and "laid in" with softener.
