How could anyone miss the 32 Or so Pan Am builds that have been going on???? there has to be at least 500 posts on the three different topics of this race! I look down at my build table, and i see Ferrari's, Maserati's, Jags, and chopped up coupes and track roadsters! what a mix of craziness! I guess just slot car crazy eh?

Man that is sharp! the green stripes really kick that silver!
How did you do the headlight rings? they look great. I really like those inserts too, perfect on that car.

Very nice Dave! Looks terrific.
Yeah, the decals are kind of stiff, directions say to use liberal use of heat, which of course you did. Do you think I should have printed the fender decals on my inkjet? Other than having to trim them out, would they be easier to work with if on Bel white paper? Let me know and I'll make a set for Allan so these don't get him in a bunch. Any other notes, just let me know.
Cheers, Thompson

I lucked up a while back, and started using them in a lot of my cars. they are a cheap source for head and taillights, and they work really well at all voltages. Glad they worked for you too! I like the nice rounded ends on them when they are installed. And thanks to you, I now know what to use for bezels! This is HRW at its best, sharing ideas

Dave, you can make lenses for the headlights yourself. Just get a metal grommet and use the Testors window glue that makes a crystal clear finished product. you can grease the edges of the metal grommet, and drop the glue into the hole in the grommet until you fill it, let it sit until completely clear, and it will work great.
PM me. You can do this.
