That said, I made a little demo video this afternoon to share with you all..
Up until 2 weeks ago I had never soldered brass.. but I did want to try so when Harry posted his ‘build along’ thread I decided to give it a go.
I’ve already completed two chassis that seem to have come out OK. Now that I know how easy and rewarding it is, I’ll be doing it more often,
so I ordered a ceramic tile and some pins to make the process a bit easier.
I just got those items in the mail today, so I decided to solder a PM motor mount to a couple frame rails to show how easy it is to solder brass.
Please pardon the unscripted babbling, and my hitting the camera making it sway back and forth for a while..
This was a one take affair LOL. Hopefully someone will find it helpful~
