Finished the chassis for the Nova. I am doing this model and the MT Resin Torino at the same time, but tonight was all Nova.

Decided to cut a lot away from the body so I could have some fun and make my own bumpers. Seems I NEED decent chrome horns around here :)





Nothing fancy and no precise awards will be given. Just takes me time to bend and shape the bumpers and the mounts and sometimes that means "adjusting" it here and there with a big hammer (pliers)





My standard flat plate chassis/body mount system. As you can see, I had some fun with Mr. Dremel.



When mounted I thought it came out looking ok.







Overall I have the look pretty much the way I like it.

Great kit. Although I really butchered it up, I have had a BALL doing it. I think this car makes a great looking Saturday Night Star. Well done Doc.

Good Googly-Moogly is that thing WICKED AWESOME!!! Nice work on the body - love the aircleaner area and the open grille. The bumpers and chassis - man that is just too cool for school!

That's a neat looking race car! Can't wait to see it completed. Is that a drop arm I spot on the chassis, or is everything soldered up tight? I can't quite tell from the photos.

Things I like.
1 the body mods, nice and clean and looks real
2 the body mount system plain awesome.
3 Now that's a sweeeeet chassis design.
Is theft of intellectual design an offence, or perhaps I should just say borrowing.

Ummm...lol...sorta :) Have a couple ideas but nothing firm yet.
