Awesome just awesome!!!!!!
I love it!
There is an old '40 Ford coupe sitting in a yard down by my parents farm in Southern Ohio.
It has been sitting in the same spot in this old house's front yard since the 1980's when I was still in high school.
My Dad and I prior to his passing were after buying it for years and the guy would always say I'm going to restore it some day.
Earlier in the year My family and I and my Mom went to the Cemetery to put flowers on my Dad's grave and we had passed by this house with the old '40 Ford coupe still sitting in the front yard. I had totally forgotten about the car till we passed by. The shame of it was it was a nice restorable old coupe back in the 1980's. Now as it sat the car had sunk into the ground with dirt 6"-12" up the sides of the bottom of the doors and fenders. I would hate to think what time and moisture did to its frame and running gear. The body was in the dirt like I said 6"-12" into the ground so all the way around the body of the car is probably rotten now. What was once a promising nice old hot rod is nothing more than yard art to plant flowers in now.
Your old coupe looks very much like it but at least it is up and turning laps above ground and not sitting a foot below it rusting in peace......
Awesome job again!
I love your weathering skills!
Wayne :D :D :D :D

I don't get these people hanging on too cars thinking some day they will do something with them and never do.....
It least your weather out there is a bit more kind to the vintage tin than here in Ohio.
There is another old farm house not a mile from here that does not look like anybody is living at.
In the back there are some old barns and garages and a bunch of old cars scattered about in the woods.
In the driveway sat a '46 Ford coupe, faded black with red steel wheels with thin white wall tires. It sat in that driveway for years not moved. This Summer some one moved it to behind the house where you can just see a bit of the back end sticking out. Maybe they got tired of being pestered by people wanting to buy it? Here again is another nice car that nothing is being done with. It the woods are many more cars like 1-2 old '60's thunderbirds and I can't tell what else because it is so grown up and off the road. God only knows what are stuffed away in those old garages out back????
Like you said once these people pass away someone will swoop in and acquire the treasures some day......
Hopefully it is sooner than later before they go back into the ground also......

Dave - that looks awesome!
If you decide to do a proxy with these - count me in!
I have never tried the whole weathering process and I think it would be a lot of fun to give a go on! :D

I was hoping that was the case.
No thanks. I have a pile of wonderful blems that scream out for this treatment. I might even get excited and use a good body.
