What grade of aluminum do you use to produce a strong and shiny wheel when machining. I tried the first thing I could get my hands on but it seems a little soft and is though to produce a good finnish on it. I know it was brought up a while back and I think it was Al Penrose that stated the grade he liked but I don't remember what it was, any help would be appreciated Thanks Dave!

The shop I work at makes most of the wheels used in the U.S. commercial track racing scene.
Aluminum used is 2011, magnesium used is AZ31B.
