I like them. Got one or two of those kits in amongst the pile. Well done.

Nice work! I've always loved these since my Aunt had one of the first 240z's in the D.C. area. Awesome car!

Thank you all! I was going to try BRE racing version if I could get the 1/24 scale kit's decals and scale them down...but, couldn't find one at a reasonable price. So, I did a corrupt version of the Transcendental Racing car, #47...I liked the color scheme, easy to see.
Here's the website with some racing 240Zs:

Thanks Jeremy! Your wife is building a slot car? Wow, that's cool...

Wow, that's a great and challenging first build with all the soldering!
I also see you helped her make a driver that would distract the other drivers...:)

One of the guys I race with made a car with a well endowed female driver too...when I asked him about it he said it was supposed to look like his wife!
I said, "Really?!!!" And thought to myself I've got to see his wife, sure enough he wasn't kidding :) He said, "I told you!"
I think Carrera, makes some of the best slot car drivers...Lolo in the Maserati and the redhead in the Mayhem car. I wish I had bought more of those Limited Edition cars! And I wish Carrera sold the drivers separately, even the street driving hot rod guys and vintage stock drivers are great.

Nice to see what these kits look like as I have eyed them before.
Great work there, sir.
I have used a Scaley based resin 260z for my build.

Thanks, your 260Z build turned out great!
What chassis did you put your build on?

I used an HRS slotit....for the first time.
I used to build a brass one for most scratch builds but time constraints made me use the plastic one.
A mate who mastered the body from the old Scalex car used a slotit GT40 chassis under his.
The main issue is getting the guide behind the front valance/splitter.

You have a larger space there....see my pic with the angled back splitter, it creates a tight fit....workable but tight.
