Body Putty / Filler - Which & Where?

One of the many shiny items that has captured my thoughts is the new "white kit" from Slot.It. The McLaren M8 appears to me as one of those cars that can easily be "kitbashed" into many different variants.
So when I can get permission to start tinkering again, I will attempt to build one up.
My question is this: What is the recommended body filler to use and where can it be purchased?
Y'all have a great day.

I use JB Weld for the initial fill, and Tamiya putty for the gradual smoothing. The JB Weld does require something to get a hold of so be sure to rough up the area where you apply it. I think everybody does something similar, but with different materials perhaps. I also use a lot of Evergreen styrene plastic sheet and shapes. :) Good to see you posting again.

Yes, great to see you coming along.
I do not use much in my builds. What little filling I do I use the old standby Squadron green putty.
Sounds like Ken works a lot more with it.

I like the red 3M dent and scratch filler, just apply with my finger and I like the old school look of the red
