Getting old

Postby frank9129 » Sat Oct 19, 2013 8:20 pm

Guys,
I have a DS-300 system for four lanes. I have a 4 lane routed MDF track.
Now is the time to install the DS system. I want to use Dead Strips.
HOW DO I DO IT???
It seems the older you get, the less you can think things out.
As I have no one who wants to race with me (hint-hint). I have no one to help but you guys. :violence-stickwhack:
I used to sign off as "Frank racing alone in Annapolis" in 2007. I am still alone.

I think you need the DS0017 kit to connect your dead strips to the DS electronics. If DS works like other systems the dead strips will only work properly in one direction. You will have to wire each lane the same way. If the laps do not count properly yoy will have to reverse the wires.

Since the DS0017 only has four wires I think that you will need two of them for a four lane track.
