This is going to be another lovely build.

I have 2 sets of PST's 15" wires that I purchased to go with a Lotus Elise kit. But I think they'll probably stay unmade in the bottom of the draw.

I am working on a MG myself at the moment

Peter's wheel can be a bit daunting - I made up my first set for the my Talbot and they weren't as challenging as I thought.

This one isn't mine unfortunately - a mate saw my D50 and Talbot and asked me to do a couple for him.

Have you seen the kits George has coming out this year... I am excited about the D Type I am confident he will do it well.

Wow! What sparked the interest in British Verticals? We have one guy building Moggy trikes, and
now an early MG. I did a TD a while back from an Airfix model. I powered it with an NC-1 and
ran it with out Ninco Classic class. It was fun but too narrow to be competitive. I like the pre-war
cars, but no one else does. I think they could be fun.

It started when my Dad plunked me into the side curtain compartment of his '35 Singer Le Mans when I was 3 years old. Then he bought me a set of Scalextric Bentleys when I was 12. At 16 I started on a long run of 1:1 Brit cars (including a '66 4.2L E-type coupe). Now I have 3 pre war Singers and a TD as well as a few dozen pre war slots (mainly British). I love the look of the pre war cars and they are perfectly competitive as long as they are running with other pre war, non mag cars.

I always wanted a Singer LeMans for my little collection. I went to a collector car auction once
for the express purpose of bidding on one that was in the catalogue. I though I had it when no
one responded to my opening bid. Then suddenly everyone was bidding on it. It went well beyond
what I was willing to spend, so I missed it. I was already depressed from having missed on an SS100
earlier in the year due to someone offering much more money for it than the deal the owner and I
had previously agreed on. I guess you just can't have everything. But I keep trying.
