I just thought of something. I can make an orbital center headlight for the Tucker. It just needs two rings!

John - thanks for doing this write up! This is an absolutely brilliant idea that I will put to use.
As for other applications, I am pretty impressed that this method is used in other hobbies as you've described.

Thanks for the tip. I have a Ninco vintage Ferrari 166 that has been missing a headlight for years. This may just be the right fix for it.
