Different type of sidewinder

Got tired of making inlines all the time so came up with these two chassis for some drag cars.
For the Little Red Wagon I didnt want to cut up the bed to fit a inline so came up with mounting motor behind the axle, Helps with the wheelies too. For the Gas Ronda mustang (first funny car I ever saw way back in 1966) I wanted to keep as much of the interior intact as possible so I mounted the motor above the axle. Since these cars will only be going in a straight line I am not to concerned about how they handle. Normaly I only make Indy and some Nascar but have always loved these two drag cars, I see a Gartlis Swamp Rat in the future, I am going to have to make a drag strip now....The Gas Ronda car isnt quite like the the real 66 car but close enough for me. Just need some drivers to put in them, any ideas......

Then next you'll have to do Bob Riggle's HEMI Under Glass, then the Backup Pickup......this could get addicting!

Particularly like the LRW, nice job!

I got to see both those cars run when I was a young. The cars of today are cool but they just din't crank me up like the match racers of old

Great looking cars. And thinking out side of the box [or norm] to find a solution to a problem is always nice to see.
