Looks too "factory fresh" :shifty: :shifty: OUTSTANDING! :banana-rock: Just remember your driver needs to be chomping on a big stogie!

I wish I could find an old 1:1 barn find like that!

David your patinaing looks great!

Really looks like an old racer drug out of a farmers field from somewhere.

That thing is so rusted that if the driver were to run in to anything, there'd be a copper colored poof. When the dust settled, the driver would be left sitting there holding the wheel with the whites of two large eyes blinking blankly. And then the Warner Brothers logo would appear and a pig would pop out.

Hey David, can you put together a weathering tutorial some time? I love the rust buckets in the field around your track, and now this too looks fantastic! No rush, but I'd really like to see how you accomplish that look. :handgestures-thumbupright:

That is rusty goodness! Very nice work! I have done a few rusty static kits, but I want to do a slot car sometime.

That's just plain cool! 8-) I haven't done any weathering on models since I used to do armored vehicles. They make it much easier to rust stuff nowadays. I used to have a jar with old nasty rusted steel wool in it that I used to rust things, now they make rust. That's progress for ya. :)
