I cant wait to see it in action, and just what the slide contributes to handling .
You just may be onto something here.
I remember the SCX Pro had a bit of a sliding pod which would cause the brake pad to rub on the crown gear when decelerating .

Nice work, Dave.

All my little chassis builds have a sliding action too and I think the handling benefits. There has to be just enough so the tires don't scrub on the body wheel arches.

My 3rd 'real life' car was one of these beasties. Unfortunately it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding but yours looks like it will haul arse.
