HRW "Canam" proxy build progress

Well.......a little more progress on my HRW CanAm proxy entry.
I built up the rolling chassis to do a little testing.....I initially installed a 22.5 K Flat 6 "S", but have reverted to a standard 20K flat 6. I really liked it with the "beefier" motor but decided that for the proxy, discretion was likely the wiser choice. It is still plenty fast.......still has that "big displacement" Can Am feel, and the chassis handles it very well...it still needs a final clean up and new lead wires but it is essentially ready to go.

I did manage to build a more "muscular" set of intakes by modifying a Monogram McLaren M6 part.........but, still have a lot of work to do...new driver head, rollbar, mirrors, etc. etc., and the part I generally anguish over most.....picking the body color!!. I know that Surtees driving the White #7, is the obvious and correct choice....but.....I am afraid it may look too....well.....white!
So,.......I am contemplating a fantasy livery, but the decision process on this will no doubt cause me untold anguish as well............maybe I should focus on some meaningful problems :)

Cheers
