Great work David. I find it hard to believe after all your resin bodies that you haven't made a brass chassis. If you want to go high horsepower, just add a pan on each side to tame the beast.
Matt don't let the look of it stop you. I have been making brass chassis since the 60s, minus a 44 year hiatus in the middle, and I never worry about a little extra solder on it. Solder adds weight and makes it more planted. What you don't know perhaps, is that those pristine polished chassis you see posted, have had more time polishing than it took to build them. I've heard of guys who even put them in a rock tumbler to make them look like that.
Also, for all of you contemplating your first brass chassis, they get better as you make more of them.
That said, we will need to be aware of David in future proxies, eh?
