"MARX" Indy 500!

Yes, I am crazy! I am building a whole series of MARX Indy racers! These out of scale, throwaway Rug Racers from the early 60's need some love too. I love this Cheesy old stuff, and all most of them need to be fun, is what the Manufactureres would have done back then if the Tech was there. Modernization! I am Casting all three of these body's and related detail items, and will be using brass chassis, and probably M/T-1 Power. although any Universal chassis would work as well. The wheels and tires I have chosen are CB 17x10, and 17x8. Tires are PG, and are the tallest I could find for 5 mm rib wheels. The wheel tire combo is a bit out of scale, but so are the cars, If another tire option becomes readily available, I would go taller. but for now, this is what I have.

For the time, I always thought these deserved some love. I'll be watching to see how these come out!
