kicker sounds much easier, new tricks for old dogs are sweet tasting

Figured the paint had cured enough.. So I started sanding.. and sanding...

An hour in I had this..

took another 20 minutes or so to clean up little spots and wash it down.. Then I primed it.

At least I'm back to square one.. time to decide on a different paint scheme~
