Yes, it comes with the vac form glass - but no interior.
I reeeally need to get this one moving forward again! :D

Actually - just took a break from working on the interior of that while waiting for the paint to dry on the interior of the Mav. Both are coming along nicely! Hope to have update pics of the "Golden BB" Mav to share later on tonight! :D

I just looked at there web sight and it say orders have been delayed due to illness but he's back up and filling orders. I guess we will have to wait and see

There's no way a German Shepherd/Alsation is a suitable substitute for Max's mutt. That was a blue heeler barrel. I've had a look through a few of the 1/35 kits looking for farm dogs and cats. Don't really think I've found a suitable stand-in yet. "The Parts Box" do a heeler in 1/25. Aurora Models Japan may be your best bet.

ACD only exist on your side of the world. They're Blue Heelers in the country that bred them. ;) It should be a fairly easy dog to model. It's just a barrel with a leg on each corner and teeth up front. :D

The Police Interceptor was the 4 door version of the XB. There may have been one or two XAs mixed in the bunch. I don't remember, it's a while since I've watched it. A lot of the cars and bikes that appear in the film were the crew's own.

The Heeler (ACD) is a much shorter and stockier dog than a Shepherd. I've been having a quick look for some comparison images, but not having a whole lot of luck. A heeler would probably come up to knee height, where a shepherd should stand considerably taller, around mid thigh. Shapewise a heeler has a lot in common with a Staffy, but fortunately not the big boof-head.

Yep Embers right on. Max Had an XB 4 door (with interceptor on the back) Before Jumping into the Black 2 door Hardtop.
The one that hit the post and then went thru the caravan ("Better send a meat truck, Johnny's got a saucepan in the throat") was also an XB. (with Pursuit on the back)
And the one that hit the little Mazda Bongo Van Was an XA (also with pursuit on the back)

The stolen Black Cop Car that the Night rider was driving was an HQ Monaro and the Goose rides a Z 900 Kawasaki.

When I was a kid, the local cops had a 351 ci 4 speed 4 door XBGT. But in Plain colours ie/ unmarked they cruised around in plain clothes and when they pulled up at the lights next to something a bit tough, they'd give it a bloody big rev, the other guy would think "it was on" . When the lights turned green the unsuspecting victim would put the boot in from the lights and the cops would pull out a sticky magnetic light and bust him. Probably close to entrapment !!!!

They got a load of guys in Tough cars like that, including my brother who got pinged for speeding, excessive noise, dangerous driving and got a defect notice in his XW GT. Until word got around and if a white XB GT pulled up in the next lane, you putted away like an old grandma.

Oh Yes, I did get my Interceptor from Superjet, good kit too. Mine has had a bit more done since I last posted it, Insert wheels and Big Rear Meats from SCC and another polish, never did find my exhausts. C'mon Todd we are all waiting to see yours. :D

Ahhh... They did that over here too Ted. A boyfriend of mine used to lament about being done by a cop in a sleeper coupe when he kicked his LJ Torana off at the lights, forgetting that he'd not returned the bag of concrete to the trunk after changing the rear wheel. The Torana had too much power and no weight and got stuck spinning it's rear wheels. When the tyre smoke cleared there was the cop standing at his window.

His Lordship's brother in law tells a few tales of the near misses on the Mad Max set. He was one of the bike riders and swears that the Goose's Kwaka was borrowed from him.
