Dan that looks really great so far! Loved these cars.

Got her done after filling out the rear wheelarches with XPG 22125's.



Slammed the front down so much that a bit of flat filing was needed to stop scraping the track .



The stock interior tray needed some surgery to clear the boxer motor but the driver figure and rollbar were kept intact.



Thought I might have to add some weight with brass side pans but at 118g it runs just fine on my twisty wood track.



Pretty straightforward build and good outcome.

Ended up adding some .032 x 1/2" pans.



Weight's up to 131g, an additiional 13g.

Feels just a bit more planted on a particular tell-tale corner on my wood track.



Maybe some playing around with gear ratios but we're pretty much done now.

Looks great Dan, and nice chassis work.
I did up an old Torino Talladega ( carrera) for our Vintage class.
used a combo of brass chassis parts , and it weighs in at 128grms.
Most of the others are about 110 grms
But it is planted and its one of those no one wants to run Into.
