I have (had) a rough body of version 1 of the Mattich SR3 (short nose) about 70% done and dropped it. I want to weep bitterly. Most of it will glue together but there is a lot of puttying to do.

So, its the more lively green #15? That's a very sporty looking car. I am amazed I never knew about it.

That's too bad, sounds like it's a fixer though. Just wonering what scale the body is?

Back in 1967 I remember seeing Frank Matich loose the 1:1 scale SR-3 at Sydney's Warwick Farm circuit and clout the Armco in Saturdays practice. My friend and I had snuck out onto the track edge while everything was stopped and grabbed pieces of broken fiberglass but don't know what happened to the bits I kept, haven't seen 'em for years.

Good thing was there it only had minor damage and back racing on the Sunday. So hopefully yours will be too!

Phil Kalbfell of Tassie Resins offers two different Matich bodies in 1/32 scale...he would sell you some if you made contact.

Dan, is it able to be fixed? I've got one if you need it otherwise.

I put carpet just around my work bench to keep things from bouncing (or not) off the concrete. Don't ask me why...

Aaah David, now you get the silent bounce....harder to track those small pieces but I guess the big items dont break.

I dropped a photo etch piece the other day. I heard a small "ting" sound and that was it....the floor genies took it.

It is 1:32.
It is fixable when I get some wood glue. It is just a personal thing of making my own bodies. and developing skills.
I have a piece of carpet down but it hit the little strip between the carpet and the shelf.
