After seeing Tom's and Harry's UNIMOG build I got to digging around to see what I could come up with.A very simple build that works. These photos are not staged.Stopped the truck where the picture was taken and then drove on off.. TAMIYA 1/32 battery powered kit.Remove the battery holder.Change out the low rev motor to a slot car motor and install a drop arm with weight.Runs your wires. We've done this on 1/43,but not 1/32 until now.Fun to run and see what she will crush..
Thanks buddy, yes I am. :D Beginning to thank there is no love for Monster trucks here.. Any way, these are fun..Going build a couple more.Maybe a little course to run them on. They run kinda like the SCX off road slots, they just climb more and look cooler going around the track. Rusty
Thanks Harry!Got another couple more built. It is amazing what these will climb over.We made a few obstacles for the track.Turned this one around just to see if they would pull it.No problem at all.. Rusty :)

You could buy some thick kitchen foil, make some rough molds of car bodies, a bit of spray paint on it, and ten you could actually really crush cars! it would be cool!
I'm pretty sure I've seen some monster trucks or demolition derby in HO scale using this technic.
The foil deal would be cool to try out!!That we will do.. Hey Harry, cool video! The scaley set looks cool.I do believe though that they will be trucks with out drop arms..
