Like the look of those offset bushings!
I may have to see about getting a set or two of those to play with.
Look forward to seeing how this transformation shapes up in both looks and performance. :)

You put the offset bearing on the LHS? Its the RHS where the casting is set too low for the bearing by about 0.75mm. Hence the commonly reported "twisted chassis" with those Camaros. Its not a twisted chassis its the fact that the bearing locations got stuffed up either when they CADed up the design, or when they did the tooling.

Sounds like you got yourself the car you wanted.
And if you think the mold on the Camaro has issues? Don't use your calipers on the front end of a Challenger.
I have had a set of these Sloting plus bushings and just never found the right project.
But you have me thinking :)

18mm slotit spur and a bit of jiggery pokery with the motor housing.....works wonders.
