I quite like the way mine runs. It just needs a smidge of weight and there's nowhere to put it.

Ditto here. I use self stick lead sheet and put it on the outside of the belly. These are my favorite cars, both the Fly and the Scaley. There must be a couple of dozen of them in that box, counting the custom paints I did and all. I keep saying I'll convert all of them to deeper guides, but I never get around to it, since they run great right from the box.

I guess this sort of thing really does show that we all like and expect something different when it comes to the behaviour of our slot cars. :)

Have not tuned up my GT40s but I sure need too! My club are magnet racers and I have noticed so many LOVE the PG tires. One of our members bought a set and does not use them or like them. Most of us use silicone either Supertires or Maxtracs which I will say seem to be the best in my opinion by a long shot over any stock tire. But my question is...are the PG tires really only meant for NO Mag cars?
