Scalextric Minilites for 14x8 C.B. Design Wheel

Most folks already know this, but thought I would share it anyway :)

Using the original front wheel, I turned it down to these dimensions. Of course, always test fit as you go to your won taste. I like to make mine a snug fit so no glue is needed.

If you want to keep the "rotor" of the original wheel, sand the insert center post flush with this rotor. This will give you the right depth.

Looks pretty good to me.

Hope it helps some of you.

Thanks Dave. I use the razor, but a drill would work. Used it many times.

Nice work. Which front minilite did you use?
Have you looked at the SCX minilite on their MK2 Ford Escorts?

Thanks. These are from the Scalextric Mustang. Just using what the car came with to see how it would turn out.

Not messed with the SCX, I'll have to look into those.
