Straightening a Ninco polycarbonate chassis ?

G'day all,

I'm currently prepping a Ninco Mosler that has a clear polycarbonate chassis with a slight bow in it.
Is it safe to do the usual steel plate, magnets and hot water straightening (Slot It) method on this type of chassis ?
This is my first Polycarb chassis so have no experience with it.
