Scalextrics Porsche - GT3R - Tune Up

I never have understood why Scalextric decided use stub axles on these cars. It would have been easy to move the body mount to the rear a little and use a solid axle. I have actually done one like that and it now has a Slot It axle in the front. These are neat cars and they run well when tuned. 8-)
