Great job indeed. Glad you found a few tidbits here that helped. Just shows once again how much fun they can be if you take the time to line it out.
These Fly's just never go away do they?

Not to sound like too much of an old fogey, but it was when we were all falling in love with that Fly T70 that I finally stopped lurking and joined HRW... I think. Its been a while, and I'm getting old. Its still one of my favorite cars and I still dig them out to run now and then. One of my long range projects is to restore what was the best track our group ever had, and I promise you, a Lola will be one of the first cars I test the track with.

Really nice work! I've kept one of these and still love it.

Lots of good info there. I have one in yellow too.
Why did you choose to improve the stub axles instead of using a solid/one piece axle?

Nice article. There is just something about the old Fly cars. I really think Slot.it is the benchmark for solid value in a slot car, but I always return to my Flys (Chevrons and Lola T-70s). Fly cars drive with "soul".

Thanks for your reply Goosenapper. I have owned a few Fly classics and seeing those fronts flap around was super surprising.
Independent rotation is better than solid fixed wheels in most cases.
