That is one of the unsung great cars. There were several versions of it, including one with a universal guide that allowed the car to spin around and go the opposite direction. I'm not sure what that was for, but it is fun to pull out and surprise people with it. There were lighted versions, some with functioning brake lights, lots of different liveries, etc. They take paint very well, and That 1:1 car had dozens to choose from.

With very little effort, the body can be shaped to make a very good scale racer, and the interior space under the body is a cavern, so you can do all kinds of things with it. I saw one with two counter rotating motors, and you could not tell at all from above. I saw one painted to look like the Batmobile in a magazine once.

RMin- Take a look on the collector pages on the net. You won't believe how many liveries Scaley did that car in. I pick them up when I see them cheap, and there must a dozen different liveries in my box, plus many more I have never even seen. They really are the unsung champs in early Scaley stuff. I have one that was brand new in the box when I got it. Dang thing is actually fast!
