I like Slotting Plus gear!
I think they produce some of the best aftermarket gear on the market...
....And that Reynard they did was a nice runner as well :)

Thanks for all of the pics and info on guides and braids. Much needed info that often gets over looked when tuning slot cars by both beginners and some old timers.

The funny thing about guides is they haven't really changed much over the last 50+ years. Of course it's hard to improve on something so basic. You would have though someone would have came up with something different, but it's basic design remains the same. Some good tips though. The guide flag still has a lot to do with the way a car handles too. :)

The only thing I really don't like about Sloting Plus guides is the black screw with the washer built into it. I'd much rather they used the Slot.It style screw and washer
