While replacing the blown gear on my mrrc chapperal, somehow othe shaft on the motor got bent. Ok so it probably happened when I broke the wheel trying to tap it back on( need a smaller hammer). Anyway im having a hard time finding the mrrc replacement. I would like to do a like for like swap to keep the car copetitive with my 3 other mrrc cars. Failing that im considering using the mt1 slim line that has been recommended on these pages. Is this a snap in swap? Ive read Harrys articles, but am a little fearful of hot gluing a motor in and getting it misaligned. Replacing with a lower rpm motor will probably mean i need to reduce the mag force. I run scaley sport track
If i need to i will repower the other 3 cars so they are equal.Any and all advice is appreciated. If you have a spare motor for the sebring chassie, let me know

You don't mention if you have the old "S" can chassis or the Sebring. I'm assuming that you have latter since you mention the MT/SL1 motor. This motor is an NC1 equivalent motor and would definitely be slower than your other 3 cars. You might also consider trying to find someone that has an MT/SL2 they want to part with (Mark no longer sells them), this would bring back up into the same ballpark as your other motors. Professor Motor lists a Scaleauto 20K FF motor (http://www.professormotor.com/product-p/sc-017.htm) that should fit and be in the neighborhood of your other MRRC motors. Hope this helps

Electric Dreams carries the replacement motor for that MRRC.

I have found it to be the same speed of the original motor supplied in these cars.

Hope this helps.
